Slot-A is a multi-talented DJ and producer who crafts stirring compositions that appeal to a widespread audience. His vast knowledge and the ability to construct songs that display a deep range have made him synonymous with first-class music.

Establishing his name around Chicago by creating intricate beats and captivating remixes, Slot-A has become a go to producer in his hometown and abroad. He has produced music for a range of artists including: Add-2, Maino, L.E.P. Bogus Boys, YP and Chuuwee among many others. Slot's music also served as the theme song for the E! TV series "Kiss and Tell” with Mr. Robotic.

Once he honed his producing talents, he naturally progressed into becoming a DJ, pulling from his experience as a beat conductor. Inspired by his favorite producers Dr. Dre and Just Blaze, Slot joined Chicago's longest running Hip Hop mix show, The Hip Hop Project, creating underground and open format sets. He generated over one-thousand listeners with his unique performances, which also afforded him the opportunity to serve as the primary DJ for Chicago MC, Neak’s 25 city tour.

Slot-A’s appreciation for all genres of music is one of the many things separating him from his contemporaries. He has consistently landed coverage on 2DopeBoyz, Hip HopDX, KevinNottingham and okayplayer; including his latest project, Power of Intention, which features 40 minutes of instrumentals that he solely mixed, blended and produced. He is also producing four tracks on Jamall Bufford’s (formerly Buff1) upcoming solo record, Victim of a Modern Age, on the renowned Mello Music Group imprint.

On any given day, you can catch Slot in the studio working on tracks for various artists as well as his own projects. Despite a jam-packed production schedule, he still finds time for touring and club dates infecting as many places possible with his unforgettable high-energy performances.
